Tiger sunset shoot
On October 14th, 2016 I was invited by the Belgian Air Force and KBSpotting for a unique photo shoot. Two of the most beautiful painted Belgian fighter jets were put on the runway of the Kleine Brogel Air Base for a special sunset and night photo shoot. The first aircraft was the Belgian F-16 solo display fighter jet, also known as 'Blizzard' (FA-123). The second fighter jet was a special painted F-16 of the 31 Tiger Squadron (FA-77) which is based at the Kleine Brogel Air Base. This beautiful fighter jet was specially painted for the 2016 NATO Tiger Meet in Zaragoza, Spain. During this special photo shoot thirty photographers were given the opportunity to take pictures of both fighter jets during a beautiful sunset. The fire department of the air base made sure both F-16's were nicely illuminated and made the runway wet which created beautiful reflections. A big thank you to the public relations office and the fire department of the Kleine Brogel Air Base, KBSpotting and the Belgian Air Force for this unique event!
